The Annapurna Himal is a large massif of serveral peaks above 24,000 ft. Part of the range forms a natural amphitheater known as the Sanctuary, ringed by Annapurna 1Glacier Dome, Gangapurna, and the fishtail – shaped peak of Machhapuchhre. This is afiarly strenuous alpine trek, whose aim is to enable the more active walker to quickly get up to the snowline not far above camp. In the Sanctuary, there are opportunities to scramble on ice and snow, and to make an excursion to Rakshi Peak. Travel with Salome along with Nurbu Ang Sherpa will take you on a once in a life time journey in Nepal visiting sacred sites, historic and places of interest while immersed in the Nepalese rich culture.
